At the beginning of 2001, Shenzhen Irico Aotom Technology Co., Ltd. and a subsidiary of China Irico Group jointly registered and established Irico Aotom (Hong Kong) Group Co., Ltd. in Hong Kong. At present, there are up to 2,000 employees in the Company. It mainly invests in industries including semiconductor micro-electronics, high-definition video shooting and playing, LED lighting, new energy, new urban media, and supply chain service. Among them, the semiconductor micro-electronics industry of new high technology is the core business of the group corporation. The company makes the utmost effort to promote the construction of a modern and innovative hi-tech company. It accurately grasps the most updated changes in market demand in combination with the top product R&D technologies in the world, so as to realize the optimized resource allocation in the best condition.

2001
- Jul. 2001 The Group was established
- Oct. 2001 Aotom established the relation of strategic cooperation partner with GBM and won the title of Excellent Supplier
2003
- Dec. 2003 The first motor-driven IC of the proprietary brand of Aotom was launched to the market
- Oct. 2003 Aotom became a qualified supplier of Foxconn
2004
- Sep. 2004 The enterprise management software Kingdee K3 was formally put on line
- Nov. 2004 The Group passed the authentication of ISO9001: 2008 quality management system
2006
- Mar. 2006 Aotom formally established the cooperation relation with SMIC
- Jun. 2006 The proprietary brand SDRAM of Aotom was successfully launched to the market
2008
- Aug. 2008 Aotom became the formal agent of Nan Ya Technology Corporation of Taiwan in Mainland China
2009
- Jun. 2009 The Group signed the Trade and Investment Promotion Agreement on the LED lighting project with Huanggang municipal government with the total investment of 600 million yuan and formally established Irico Aotom (Hubei) Photo Electricity Co., Ltd.
- Oct. 2009 Aotom was honored as one of the top 10 innovative semiconductor enterprises in the electron component industry of China
- Sep. 2009 Aotom invested in and established Hubei AoQi Media Co., Ltd., through which it formally got involved in the media industry
- Sep. 2009 AoQi International (Hong Kong) Group Co., Ltd. invested in and established the R&D team for high-definition digital video shooting and playing products
- Nov. 2009 Aotom and Tsinghua University Graduate School jointly assisted and participated in the starting ceremony of the Innovation Union of China High-definition Video Shooting & Playing Industry and Aotom was elected as the deputy chairman unit
- Dec. 2009 Aotom invested in Aotom New Energy (Hong Kong) Industrial Co., Ltd., thus getting involved in the new energy industry
2010
- May 2010 Aotom formally became a qualified supplier of Shenzhen ZTE Mobile Tech Co., Ltd.
- Aug. 2010 The foundation of Hubei LED Industrial Park was laid and the construction of the industrial park occupying an area of 166 m was commenced
- Nov. 2010 Hu Jie, chairman of board of directors of the Company, was elected as the executive chairman of the first session of board of directors of Shenzhen Huanggang Chamber of Commerce, Huangzhou Branch Chamber
- Oct. 2010 The Company purchased an office of 1,500 square meters in Optics Valley International Plaza and formally established the operation center of the Group in Hubei;
- Dec. 2010 The Company invested and established Wuhan Aotom Photo-electricity Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Aotom Information Technology Co., Ltd., marking the formal initiation of the operation center of the Group in Hubei
